Philadelphia to San Francisco
WHAT:
150 people racing across the country in the ultimate road trip.
WHY:
To help raise awareness and funds for children’s educational charities.
HOW:
In all forms of transportation imaginable. Concerts, daytime children’s
events, local contests, and mass media coverage and participation.
Prizes
Prizes for each leg of the race will be $1000, $500, and $250. The grand
prizes at the end of the race will be $500,000, $250,000, and $125,000
with 50% of the prize monies earned by the participants being donated
to a previously selected charity in the winners’ name. Also, sponsor-donated
"prize packets" will be presented to each contestant.
